David Dancuta serves as Junior Portfolio Analyst at Serenity Capital Advisors, where he supports the firm’s portfolio management, financial planning, and market research efforts. He works closely with the firm’s Portfolio Manager to provide analytical support that informs investment decisions and long-term portfolio strategy.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics from the University of Rochester and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Finance at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. His academic training has provided him with a strong foundation in investments, asset management, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis.
Prior to joining Serenity Capital Advisors, David gained hands-on experience in investment research and wealth management through roles at Parks Capital, Wells Fargo Advisors, and PRSPCTV Capital. At Parks Capital, he worked directly with the investment team on fundamental equity analysis, valuation research, and portfolio restructuring initiatives aligned with client objectives. His work included evaluating individual holdings, conducting industry-level research, and contributing to investment decisions through disciplined, data-driven analysis.
In his role at Serenity, David supports portfolio construction, investment monitoring, and financial planning analysis, as well as broader market and economic research. His responsibilities include conducting investment research, assisting with portfolio reviews, and providing analytical insights that support the ongoing execution of the firm’s investment philosophy. While David’s work is primarily behind the scenes, it plays an important role in strengthening the research and rigor that underpin client portfolios.
David is known for his analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to thoughtful investment analysis. Outside of work, he is actively involved in philanthropic efforts and has founded a nonprofit organization supporting Romanian orphans. He also enjoys staying active through sports and fitness and has a strong interest in global history and languages.
